Dr. Omar Matar
Dentist
DDS
Dr. Omar Matar graduated from dental school in 2012 and has been
committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care ever
since. He provides comprehensive dental services, including
preventive, restorative, and cosmetic treatments, with an emphasis on
clear communication, conservative diagnosis, and long-term oral
health.
Dr. Matar particularly enjoys simplifying complex dental problems and
helping patients overcome dental anxiety. He focuses on delivering
long-term solutions with a strong emphasis on prevention and patient
education, empowering patients to take an active role in their oral
health. He remains committed to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in dentistry to ensure patients receive modern, evidence-based care.
Outside the office, Dr. Matar enjoys traveling and exploring new
cultures. He and his wife are the proud parents to their 4yr old daughter. He is honoured to support SickKids Foundation and Crossroads International, reflecting his commitment to both community and global impact.
Dr. Steven Young
Prosthodontist
BSc, DMD, Cert Pros, FRCDC
Dr. Young is a prosthodontist, a dentist who specialized in the aesthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. Dr. Young trained in Boston and Buffalo and has over 25 years of experience. He comes from a family of dentists that include his father, brother, uncle and brother-in-law.
Dr. Young is married and has two daughters. He enjoys cycling, current events, military history and motor racing. He has studied culinary arts and wine appreciation, and prepares dinner for his family every night.
Dr. Young is a member of many dental organizations.
Dr. Frances Hadipranoto
Dentist
BSc, DDS
Dr. Frances graduated from the University of Toronto, faculty of dentistry in 2014. Since then, she has participated in various dental out-reach programs in Haiti and Indonesia. She continues to improve her dental knowledge and clinical skills by attending continuing education courses. She is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Frances loves to draw and paint. Wall decoration in her house and her family’s house mainly are her own artworks. She also enjoys yoga classes and physical training in the gym.
Dr. Jeffrey Lam
Dentist
BSc, MSc, DDS
Dr. Jeff received his dental training from the University of Toronto in 2014. He then completed a hospital dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, with focused training on oral surgery and patients with special needs. Currently, he is a staff dentist at the UHN Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and clinical instructor for the University of Toronto.
When not at work, Dr. Jeff is obsessed with cooking the perfect steak. He is also a music lover who enjoys playing the violin and is an avid audiophile, enthusiastic about high-fidelity sounds.
Dean
Registered Dental Hygienist
Dean brings with him a varied dental background as he has been in the dental field since 1985.
Prior to graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at George Brown College in 1995, he worked as a dental technologist, and as a dental assistant with Ministry of the Solicitor General and Correctional Services.
As a dental hygienist, Dean has worked clinically with general dentists and specialists. He also has dental hygiene consulting experience.
He attends continuing education courses regularly, is a long-standing member of the Ontario Dental Hygienist Association and is in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario.
When not at work, Dean enjoys fishing, the outdoors, staying active and playing bass.
Krista
Registered Dental Hygienist
Krista has been a registered dental hygienist working in family practice since 1998 in Oakville graduating from Niagara College.
She is a long-standing member of the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association and is in excellent standing with the College of Dental Hygienists.
Krista has spent years developing an excellent working rapport with her dental clients and is looking forward to continue providing this quality of care to all her clients in the future.
Marina
Office Manager
Marina graduated with honours from the Dental Hygiene program at St Clair College in 1992. She is a member in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. During her years of practice, she has worked in general, specialist and orthodontic practices. Marina has shifted from clinical hygiene to the administrative side of Dentistry. Marina brings with her, years of dental knowledge and clinical experience to the administrative team.
In Marina’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting, cooking and traveling.
Kate
Administration
Kate thrives at making patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of for all of their dental appointments and calls to the office.
Kate has worked as a certified Level 2 dental assistant for over 15 years. Although she is most often found at the front desk greeting patients with her warm and bubbly personality, she can occasionally be found assisting the dentists.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys hosting and cooking for family and friends, dancing and spending time outdoors, and raising her three beautiful daughters.
Braeden
Dental Assitant
Braeden has been a certified Level 2 dental assistant since 2011. Her passion for dentistry started out at a young age and continues to grow and evolve. Her dazzling personality brings light and laughter to our office daily.
Braeden’s goal is to make everyone’s dental experience a good one. Her attention to detail and chair-side manner will put you at ease through all of your dental procedures.
When she’s not working, Braeden likes to spend time with her husband, Jesse, and their daughters, Paisley and Lennon, at the family cottage.
